A Favor to Ask

Hey Ladies,

This is for those of you who have received your orders from the shop. Could you please give me some feedback on how you liked the presentation of your orders? Were you happy with the way things were wrapped? The swag? I'm just trying to find out if I should change anything, or if people are happy with how it arrives.

I'm also reading the poems over and over, trying to select the winner. I'll announce the winner on Tuesday.

Thank you, and I'll see you Tuesday! Off to the prison!

I got my package on Saturday. Everything was great. It was fun to unwrap my yarn, and to check out all the goodies. I happened to get 3rd prize, so my prize Lorna's Laces was awesome!

I do happen to have one preference, I like to have the yarn sent in a plastic bag... only because sometimes my mail guy puts my packages on top of my mail box, and this time of year the weather is unpredictable. I know plastic bags aren't "green" but I like to have the protection.

It was all very nice Pam!! Good job!!

I especially liked the care given to the choice of tissue paper used for the skeins...when unwrapped, the yarn looked as though it was on display as it nestled in the tissue due to the use of complementary colors.

I *really* liked everything except the confetti, which gets staticky and hard to pick up and I'm always worried the cat will eat it.

And as a side note, I really, really, really love the colour of the STR you sent for my prize. It's absolutely stunning. Thank you!

Thank you, everyone - this all tells me that I'm on the right track. No more confetti (thanks, Mar - I didn't even think about that).

Jill, you got the gauges, right? In a small envelope? You got no swag because there wasn't any room in there for the lavender bag (which was really just for yarn anyway) or candy (which would have gotten smooshed). I didn't have any padded envelopes, so I did the best I could. I just bought some, so the problem has been fixed. If you order again, you'll get swag.

Hi Pam

My package of yarn arrived today in England, I am really pleased with how it was wrapped with tissue paper ans tied each end with ribbon, the yarn smelled lovely and I loved the little lavender sachet.
